Ramrod was born a cowboy August 26th, 1942 in McCrory, Arkansas and moved to Dallas, Texas at the age of 6. As a third generation cowboy, he is proud that the family tradition is being passed on to his grandsons Darrel and Davan. When he is not training and guiding horses at The Atlantic City Riding Academy, he is helping out at the Ranch teaching the kids. He hopes they will follow the cowboy’s footsteps and keep the Federation of Black Cowboys going forever. Bill Pickett, “Uncle Ben” Miller, his father, John H. Moore and his grandfather, Sonny Moore are his heroes.
