Horses: Little Jack

Born April 2, 1942, in West Virginia, Dirty Dog Doug has been riding horses for 30 years. He never rode a horse until he moved to New York City at the age of 18. At the age of 19 he saw for the first time a man riding his horse through Prospect Park. Shortly thereafter, he hired a horse and has been hooked ever since. He was given his name by fellow cowboy, Lenard Hebert, for going against the grain by getting low-down & dirty riding where no one else would. He and Little Jack, who has lots of spirit, specialize in barrels and pole bending. Dirty Dog Doug is the kind of cowboy who likes everybody, but nothing comes between him and his horse.
